Maverick Metal Trading opened in 2001 by providing steel, fence pipe, metal building materials and components to the Ennis area. To answer customer demand we added ornamental iron and ag products such as hay spears, H and corner posts, and cattle guards. We have grown into a steel warehouse stocking many types of steel and aluminum shapes, with some agricultural products.
In 2007 the Metal Recycling division opened. Local citizens help clean up our environment by selling us their scrap metals. Our truck and platform scales are calibrated and inspected annually. We pay cash for aluminum (cans, too), brass, copper, stainless, steel (iron) and tin. Please see our Recycling page for a more complete list of items we accept for recycling. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
In 2019 we purchased a plasma cutting table to better fit the needs of our customers. From ornamental designs to fabricated manufacturing parts 14g to 1” thick. Please see our Metal Products page for more information.
